Summer came and went and fall has made his arrival known with cold temperatures, wind and fog.
Not to long ago, we had t-shirt temperatures and blue skies as far as the eye can see. Flying was only restricted by a few maintenance issues, which, after a very short period of time were resolved and we were soaring high above the earth again. My students made great progress and we started venturing out a little bit further away from our home airport than in the previous weeks. I would like to mentiuon, that the learning curve of a new pilot is pretty steep and one has to make sure to not fall behind with reading, homework and life itself. I am very proud of my students and how they juggle life and the demands of Moody Aviation.
Noch vor einigen Wochen hatten wir T-Shirt Wetter und blauen Himmel so weit das Auge reichte. Unser Fliegen wurde nur von einigen Flugzeugreparaturen unterbrochen, die jedoch immer schon nach kurzer Zeit verrichtet werden konnten, damit wir schon bald wieder in die Höhe steigen konnten. Meine Studenten machten sehr gute Fortschritte, und wir begannen, etwas weiter von unserem Heimflughafen weg zu fliegen, weiter als in den vergangenen Wochen. Hier moechte ich noch erwähnen, dass die Lernkurve eines neuen Piloten schon sehr steil ist und man muss dann gut aufpassen, dass man den Anschluss von Hausaufgaben, vom Fliegen und vom Leben selber nicht verpasst. Ich bin sehr stolz auf meine Studenten, wie sie das Leben und die Schule hier jonglieren.
